Child's Play (2019) DVD - This remake of the 1988 film of the same name transports the infamous Chucky doll to the year 2019. In this reboot, Chucky is a Buddi doll - an AI-powered toy with Wi-Fi capabilities - created by the Kaslan Corporation. Karen (Aubrey Plaza) is able to score one from her workplace, which she gifts to her 14-year-old son, Andy (Gabriel Bateman). Once the doll is powered on, it names itself Chucky (voiced by Mark Hamill). The doll is meant to be a companion to children, as well as control other Kaslan products. But there is something different about Chucky as it learns new concepts from watching movies and listening to the people around it.
